White Slipped Seed Jar
Nampeyo, c. 1900. 10 1/4" diameter, 6" height.Excellent form and design create an outstanding example of Nampeyo's work around 1900. A jar with the same design from the Field Museum was exhibited in "Nampeyo, A Gift Remembered" in the 1970s. This design is an original abstraction in the Sikyatki Revival style by Nampeyo. Ex-Charles Lumnis collection, Los Angeles.
